The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will begin with discussions with the Human Resources Department. The Board will go over payroll change notices, discuss updates to the employee handbook, and consider a request for out of state travel. Following that, the Supervisors will consider a resolution outlining their hazard mitigation plan. Next, they will discuss several items regarding the Secondary Roads Department, starting with a resolution to vacate a portion of Q Court. The Board will also discuss an amended joint road maintenance 28E agreement with the City of Van Meter, as well as a request to vacate a portion of 288th Trail.
At 9:30 a.m., they will continue a public hearing that was recessed from last week regarding a rezoning request. Other items on the agenda include: a parking fine 28E agreement with the City of Waukee; an update on the new law enforcement center and consideration of a pay request; and appointments to the County Board of Health. The meeting will conclude with a closed session to discuss purchase of real estate.
The meeting will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
