easter eggs

We’re one week away from Easter, but that shouldn’t matter to the children and families in Adel as they’re invited to the annual Adel Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt.

Tomorrow at 3 p.m., the Kiwanis Club will host the hunt at Kinnick Feller Park. They will have an appearance by the Easter Bunny, fire trucks from the Adel Fire Department, face painting, prizes, and even some real, live bunnies. There will be staggered start times with four different age groups to make sure everyone has an opportunity to get some treats.

In case of inclement weather, the Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt will be moved to the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School gymnasium. There is no cost to attend the event.
