The high school basketball career of Panorama senior Devyn Kemble will continue this weekend in Dallas County. Kemble received a pair of invitations to play in senior all-star games across the state including the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association’s All-Star game tomorrow morning at the Meadows Gym in Grimes.
Kemble is one of 10 athletes selected for the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association’s Southwest Girls squad which features athletes from Dallas Center-Grimes, Indianola, Johnston, Southeast Polk, West Des Moines Valley, Roland Story, and Council Bluffs St. Alberts. The Southwest All-Stars will square off against the Northeast All-Stars beginning at 10:15 a.m. tomorrow morning. Kemble is also one of 30 Class 2A girls basketball players selected to the Larry Niemeyer Senior All-Star game held at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids on April 8.
Kemble played a vital role in the success of Panorama girls basketball this season, ranking second on the team with 348 points scored, and eclipsing 1,000 career varsity points earlier this season. She is continuing her basketball and track and field career next year at Northwestern College in Orange City.
