The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular budgeting session Thursday. The Board began the meeting by approving two resolutions from the secondary roads department. The first authorizes all current Stop and Yield signs, and the second approves the annual noxious weed report.
The Board also approved two right-of-way purchase agreements for just over $1900. The land near Adair will be used to convert a bridge to a box culvert. County Engineer Josh Sebern also revealed that Midwest Contractors out of Cedar Falls was the low bid for county patching projects. The meeting concluded with continued discussion on the county farm and other county property projects.
