Time is running out for you to bid in the Dallas County Hospital Foundation’s annual Easter Basket Silent Auction.
The auction started on February 26th, and it will conclude this Monday. The baskets are on display right now at the hospital, and there is a wide assortment available for kids, adults, and even pets. This is the third year for the event, which the DCH Foundation started as a way to raise money for their annual scholarships. Foundation Manager Matt Crooks told Raccoon Valley Radio that they’ve tried an assortment of different fundraisers over the years, but the baskets have proven to be the most successful.
The scholarships are awarded each year to high school seniors or those going into their final year of a healthcare field in college. The student must be a graduate or graduating from a high school located in Dallas County.
