Guthrie County CourthouseThe Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday in regular session.

County Engineer Josh Sebern updated the Board on various road projects in the Five Year Road program. Sebern added three large projects to the timeline, including the bridge replacement just south of Panora on Viceroy Trail. The program also includes various patching operations. The Board approved a resolution accepting the proposed changes to the program. The Board also took no formal action on authorizing County Stop and Yield signs until all details are finalized.

The meeting concluded with a discussion on county property projects. Supervisor Mike Dickson would like to see the possibility of using GPS technology in the secondary roads department. Sebern will obtain quotes for the technology, and discussions will continue at a future meeting.
