Monday, March 19th
8:19am: An officer investigated a Deer vs. Deer Accident at 220th and Flack Ave. A 2015 Nissan Altima, owned and operated by Aaron Lewis of Jefferson, struck the deer while traveling eastbound on 22oth Street. His vehicle suffered a reported $1500.00 in damages.
9:38am: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of East Lincoln Way resulted in Mark Kenan of Rippey being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
12:36pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medial call in the 1000 Block of West Washington Street.
4:08pm: Brad Beadle spoke with an officer about his estranged wife is speaking with his children. He asked the officer to advise her to end the contact, since she is not their biological mother.
5:05pm: An officer removed a feral cat from a Live Trap in the 100 Block of East Central Ave.
6:04pm: Hy Vee reported a group of juveniles riding bikes in their parking lot at 106 West Washington Street, causing a traffic hazard. The officer spoke to the youngsters about finding a safer area to ride bikes.
6:11pm: Linda Wolterman requested assistance in repossessing a vehicle in the 500 Block of East Clark Street.
8:40pm: Carlotta Wilde reported a Barking Dog in the 500 Block of South Cedar Street. The officer made contact with the owner and it was brought inside.
9:29pm: The Greene County Middle School reported a vehicle parked at the school, which has not moved in a week. The officer is attempting to reach the registered owner of the vehicle.
10:01pm: An officer located an Open Door at 1006 North Vine Street.
11:27pm: A Traffic Stop at 257th and Hwy. 4 resulted in Brandon Michael Sullivan, 23 of Ottumwa being arrested for, “Driving While Barred – Aggravated. Sullivan was also cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Security Liability.”
