perry chamber

The Perry Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner is coming soon, but before that happens the Chamber needs your nominations for this year’s awards.

Last year the Chamber gave out three different awards, but Director Lynsi Pasutti says they decided to pare down that number just a tad. “This year we’re just sticking to two. We have the ‘Spirit of Perry Award,’ which is the business of the year. And then the ‘Jack Finneseth Memorial Volunteer of the Year Award.’ So those are the two awards that we are hoping we’ll get lots of nominations in for, so that we can select the recipient for that. We’ve got lots of great candidates already in the community that people can think of being great members, helping out. And then great businesses that are outstanding to their customers and their employees and everything like that.”

Businesses and individuals can be nominated by any Chamber member. A survey was sent out via email asking for nominations, though Pasutti says if people didn’t get the email or it got lost in the shuffle, hope isn’t lost. She says to contact the Chamber Office and they will make sure you get the chance to nominate people for the awards. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday. The Annual Dinner will be held on April 10th at La Poste.
