IMG_2189The pins were rolling Saturday night at Incredibowl in Guthrie Center, but this wasn’t an ordinary night at the alley. About 100 Guthrie County residents and supporters of Relay For Life (RFL) donned their green garb for the “Kiss the Blarney Stone” 9-pin bowling tournament and fundraiser.

The supporters filled all eight lanes from 3pm-Midnight. The top three overall won cash prizes and lanes with colored head pins added extra incentives. There were also raffles, a costume contest, corned beef and cabbage, and drink specials.

RFL Senior Community Manager and Guthrie County Spokesperson Kim Durst talks about the overwhelming community support. “It was just a great night. We had people from all over Guthrie County. From Adair, Casey, Panorama, Stuart, Guthrie Center. Everyone came out and really rallied to join us in the fight against cancer and had a great time.”

Durst also thanks Chris and Melissa Long, who own Incredibowl, for hosting the event. The annual Relay For Life is Friday, June 15th
