The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular budgeting session today.

Iowa Governmental Health Care Plan (IGHCP) Consultant Denise Ballard will discuss the recent insurance plan changes. IGHCP recently voted to transition from Wellmark’s Alliance Select plan to Blue Choice from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The discussion will center around concerns the Board has with the transition, as well as the premium renewal. No formal action will be taken following the discussion.

The Board will conclude the meeting with county property projects and approve the 28E agreement for the Iowa Precinct Atlas Consortium. The agreement was tabled last meeting due to seeking more clarification on some details. The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors’ Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
