The Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) officials have released the full route for Day Two, which includes stops in our listening area.

Participants will start at Denison on Monday, July 23rd and bike 71.7-miles to Jefferson for the second overnight stop. Along the way, bikers will go through different towns, including: Aspinwall, Manning, Templeton, Dedham, Coon Rapids, Scranton and end up in Jefferson. Part of the official route takes cyclists east on Highway 141 and north on Highway 25 to Scranton, and then heading east on County Road E-53 to Jefferson.

Tuesday morning, RAGBRAI officials will release the rest of the full route through Greene County, heading over to Boone and Story counties to the next overnight stop in Ames.
