The Guthrie Center City Council will meet in regular session tonight. The Council will conduct the public hearing on the proposed budget for the next fiscal year. Following the public hearing, the Council will consider a resolution adopting the proposed budget.
The Council will then review the third reading of an ordinance to eliminate time restrictions to remove snow and ice from sidewalks. Other discussion items include: a needs assessment for the Mitchell Park bathhouse and restroom renovations, a housing rehab grant application, a 28E agreement with the County for police services, and salvage bids on a property. The meeting begins at 6:30pm in Guthrie Center CIty Hall.
