The Perry wrestling team held their end of season banquet Tuesday night in the high school atrium.  Head Coach Mark Weber introduced the team along with individual honors.  State Champion and two time state qualifier Zach Stewart earned the Career Achievement award, the Outstanding Wrestler award and the Most Exciting award as evident by leading the team in both reversals and takedowns this season.  Four time state qualifier Zach Thompson earned the Leadership and Danny Garber award for his hard work throughout the season.  Junior state runner up Kaleb Olejniczak picked up the Leadership award along with the prestigious Bluejay Way Award.  This award is annually given to a wrestler who exemplifies the traits of someone who would be proud to represent the town of Perry.

Other honors included Riece Graham picking up the Most Improved and Rookie of the Year.  Miguel Gonzalez received the Coach’s Adversity award.
