With Van Meter’s defeat in the state quarterfinals yesterday, the West Central Activities Conference announced the Boys Basketball All-Conference selections. Two Chargers earned Honorable Mention distinction. Senior Caden Wardyn, the Charger’s leading scorer and MVP this season, and sophomore Quynton Younker received the honor.
Van Meter’s two leading scorers, Ryan Schmitt and Blake Fryar, were the first two named to the First Team.
