Monday, March 5th
12:41pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of South Locust Street.
3:00pm: John Lynch reported receiving the “Publisher’s Clearing House” Phone Scam Call. Lynch recognized the call as a scam and did not participate and incurred no loss.
4:01pm: The Wild Rose Casino reported the Theft of a GPS Unit from a customer’s vehicle at 777 Wild Rose Lane. After watching surveillance video, it was determined the theft had not occurred at the casino.
5:10pm: Miranda Paris reported striking a pole in the parking lot at 507 North Elm Street. The 2013 Chevrolet Silverado suffered a reported $1000.00 in damages. The pole was not damaged in the incident.
5:47pm: Officers were called to 401 North Wilson Avenue for a Domestic Situation between a mother and daughter. The officer ended up taking the daughter to ER to be evaluated by a medical doctor.
7:29pm: April Hopkins requested officers at 504 South Cedar Street for a Domestic Situation occurring between herself and her boyfriend. Officers arrived and learned of a verbal argument. The male party left the residence for the evening to allow for a cool down period.
9:51pm: Officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 1100 Block of McDuffie Drive.
11:57pm: Jessica Kelton requested an officer at 305 North Chestnut Street for a possible person outside her window. The officer did not find any prints in the fresh snow, or anyone in the area.
