Two individuals have been identified after being arrested on felony drug charges resulting from a traffic stop in Stuart.
The Stuart Police Department arrested 20-year-old Charles Ruhland of rural Adair County, and 21-year-old Brady Jensen of Stuart on two felony charges each. Late Friday night, officers stopped a vehicle that was traveling the wrong way down a one-way street. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed over one pound of marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia. Shortly after, search warrants were executed at the suspects’ homes. Additional marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and prescription drugs were recovered in the search. Ruhland and Jensen were arrested for possession with intent to distribute, as well as failure to affix a drug tax stamp, both class D felonies. They were both booked into the Guthrie County Jail.
