jamaica water tower

The City of Jamaica is once again under a boil order until further notice.

City officials told Raccoon Valley Radio that they were having issues with the distribution system. This is the second water advisory for the City in less than a week, as on February 20th they had low water pressure problems resulting in another boil order. Jamaica City officials are working to fix the problem, but until then all water should be boiled before being used for consumption.

Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official, and we will let the public know as soon as the boil advisory is lifted.
