The future appears bright for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers girls basketball team (9-14 overall) as their season closes with a pair of sophomores making the All-Raccoon River Conference basketball squad. The coaches of the league chose Abbie Hlas as a first team all-conference guard and selected Delaney Bertman to the second team all-conference squad as a forward. Junior Emma Jacobsen received recognition from the Raccoon River Conference coaches as an honorable mention performer.
Hlas ended the conference season as the league’s fifth-best scorer, averaging 13.2 points in 14 contests. She also ranked second on ADM with 70 rebounds, 31 assists, and 22 steals against league competition. Bertman was ADM’s top rebounder inside the conference, securing 87 possessions for the Tigers, the eighth-highest mark in the league. Jacobsen was the Tigers third-leading scorer averaging 8.3 points per game. Her 25 made three-pointers ranked third in 14 league games this season. ADM ended the Raccoon River Conference season in fifth place out of eight teams with a mark of seven wins and seven losses. The Tigers will lose Kaylyn Nordman to graduation.
