The final statistics are in for the West Central Valley girls basketball team and two players stood out for their rebounding effort this season. Sophomore Sydney Neal and senior Grace Dupuy each secured over 180 rebounds a piece for the Wildcats. Neal ended the season with two more rebounds than Dupuy, securing a team-best 185. Junior Joelle Grubs was the only other Wildcat player to register over 100 rebounds, recording 110. The Wildcats season ended in the first round of the Class 2A Region 6 bracket, losing to the Van Meter Bulldogs, 56-40. West Central Valley’s season ends with an overall record of 9-12.
