About a dozen members of the Stuart Chamber of Commerce gathered at Linden Street Sweets Friday morning for the first ever Community Coffee. They stopped by to share conversation, a cup of joe, and sweet treats.

Chamber Secretary/Treasurer Tiffany Johnson tells Raccoon Valley Radio the Chamber intended to start these events last year, however there was no clear leadership or initiative to get them going. She also says these events have been made possible by the dedicated work that Chamber Director Brenda Dudley has contributed since being hired late last year. The Community Coffees are scheduled for the third Friday of every month, with the next one on March 16th at Stuart Appliance.
