A Dallas County historian will now add Guthrie County to his areas of outreach. On Monday, the Guthrie County Conservation Board appointed Rod Stanley to a three-year term on the Historical Village Foundation Board.

Stanley has facilitated several historical programs around the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area. Most recently, he discussed interurban railroads at the Panora Public Library last fall. The five-person board also includes: Alex Krueger, Steve Kroeger, Doug Long, and Nancy Smith.
