There are several upcoming activities that Greene County youth can be get involved with at the Jefferson Public Library.

Any pre-kindergarten and kindergarteners can participate in several penguin-related activities with the “Penguin Play” event. There will be an egg race, fishing for snacks and penguin crafts. It will be held on Thursday, February 22nd from 4 to 5pm, with the pre-registration deadline on February 21st.

Other activities happening on Wednesdays from now until March 14th is Lapsit Story Time as well as Ready Readers Story Time. Lapsit Story Time is for youth from newborn to 23-months and Ready Readers Story Time is for kids two to six-years-old. Both programs are from 10 to 10:45am. No registration is necessary for the story times.
