The Greene County Treasurer’s office has released the driver’s license annual report.
According to a report filed with the Officer of Driver Services, 2,779 driver’s licenses were issued from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, which also includes duplicate licenses. There were also 303 non-commercial tests administered, along with five motorcycle tests. The report is in compliance with the provisions that the county has through a 28E agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation.
August was the month with the most driver’s licenses issued with 345. Overall, the county retained $19,565 from licensing fees, and $21,084 was sent to the state government.
