Trevor Carey of Panorama wrestles this afternoon at 182 lbs. in the Class 1A Quarterfinals at Wells Fargo Arena during the 2018 Iowa high school state wrestling tournament. Carey is 43-8 and meets 38-8 Christian Wolthuizen of Akron-Westfield with the winner earning a trip to the semifinals tonight.

Six others from the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area will wrestle later this afternoon in the 1A second consolation round. That list includes Dalton Arnold (220) from Coon Rapids-Bayard, Alex Wells (285) from West Central Valley, along with a quartet from Panorama. The four Panthers are Danny Nordquist (126), Wyatt Appleseth (132), Gunnar Grunsted (170), and Dalton Holmes (195).
