Today is the day wrestlers across the state have been waiting for. Starting today, 672 grapplers will converge at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Among those looking to reach the top of the podium is ACGC freshman Seth Danker. Danker (106) qualified for state after finishing second at the District 1 Tournament in Guthrie Center last Saturday.

In his first match, Danker will face a top-ten opponent in Sigourney-Keota’s Mason Dye. Dye, who enters the tournament with a 46-4 record, is the ninth ranked wrestler according to The Predicament, and tenth ranked grappler according to IAWrestle.
