StuartThe Stuart City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The Historical Preservation Commission will begin the meeting by presenting the Council with a certificate. The Council will then hear presentations from: People Active for Library Services (PALS), the Stuart Fire Department, the West Central Valley Pastoral Association, and the Stuart Chamber of Commerce.

The Council will then review a petition to have a stop sign removed at NE 10th Street and North Harlan Street. After a Tax Increment Financing and easement proposal, the Council will then seek approval for a right-of-access resolution. The Council will conclude the meeting with the following action items: a review of usage for the Stuart Depot, a proposal from Project Restore on renovations to Hotel Stuart, an economic development report, setting the date for a public hearing on the 2018-2019 budget proposal, and utility board appointments.

The meeting begins at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers in Stuart City Hall.
