The next meeting of the Perry Public Library’s Monthly Book Club is coming soon, though they want to make sure everyone has the correct date.

The library originally published that the group would be meeting on Tuesday, February 20th, but it will actually be held on Thursday, February 22nd. Library Director Mary Murphy apologized for the confusion, but she’s glad the error was corrected well ahead of the meeting. This month’s selected discussion title is “Take a Stand: Lessons from Rebels,” by Jorge Ramos. Guest speaker Daniel Rivera will lead the discussion of the book on the 22nd, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s large meeting room.

The Monthly Book Club is always accepting new members, and there is no cost or registration required to take part. The book can be found at the library. For more information, stop by the library or call 515-465-3569.
