The West Central Activities Conference basketball season ended on a positive note Tuesday night for the West Central Valley girls squad (9-11 overall). The Wildcats closed their league season in Earlham against the Cardinals; West Central Valley squeaked out a 54-52 victory. Senior Grace Dupuy poured in a team-high 19 points, while sophomore Sydney Neal added 16. The win improves West Central Valley’s overall record to 9-11. The Wildcats start their postseason run Saturday hosting Van Meter in the opening rounds of the Class 2A Region 6 bracket.
