The Perry Bluejay basketball team could not control their emotions Tuesday night as Boone held off the Bluejays 72-68 in Raccoon River Conference action.  Perry was given three technical fouls in a span of six minutes in the third quarter which proved to be the difference.  Rashon Ivory was given a technical foul after getting called for a charge and responding to a push from Boone’s Josh Herrick.  Minutes later, Mark Campos was given a double technical after arguing with the official.  Boone finished 25-37 from the foul line with Trevor Van Pelt hitting 15-18 on the night to finish with 22 points.

Ivory led Perry with 26 points while Drew Levan added 17.  Perry had four guys foul out on the night.

Perry will host Bondurant Farrar Friday night.
