A free concert will take place this weekend in Grand Junction.

The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America’s Freedom Winds will perform at 7pm this Saturday at the Grand Junction Community Center. The six-member ensemble is based out of Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. They perform jazz and ragtime classics with popular themes from Broadway’s hit shows and Hollywood films.

The ensemble will also perform at the Perry Performing Arts Center on Sunday, February 11th at 2pm for another free concert.

The concert is free and open to the public.
