The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers girls basketball team (8-12 overall) lost another fourth-quarter lead to the Carlisle Wildcats Tuesday night. The two Raccoon River Conference members squared off in Adel last night to kick off the last week of the league season. ADM let an eight-point fourth quarter lead slip through their hands, falling in overtime to Carlisle, 49-43. The Tigers had a five-point lead over the Wildcats in Carlisle on January 9 before losing at the end, 57-54. Sophomore Delaney Bertman highlighted ADM with a double-double, a team-high 18 points, and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Abbie Hlas added 15 in the setback. The loss drops ADM’s overall record to 8-12 and their Raccoon River Conference mark to 7-6. ADM returns to the floor Friday hosting Class 4A No. 6 Boone for senior night.
