Being weathered out three times did not stop the Greene County and Winterset boys’ basketball teams from trying it a fourth time. Snow postponed Monday’s non-conference girl/boy doubleheader for a third time this season. Jan. 15 and 22 were the other dates weathered out.

The boys’ teams are now scheduled to play a tripleheader in the Huskies’ gym on Saturday, Feb. 10. Action starts at 11 a.m. with the freshmen teams playing, following by a JV game, then the varsity contest. It is boys’ only as the Greene County girls open Class 3A Regional play Saturday night in Sac City vs. East Sac County on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage at 6:20 p.m. with tipoff at 7 p.m.
