Last Saturday, the proud papas of Perry and their little girls attended the annual Father-Daughter Dance at Perry Elementary.
The event was hosted by the Perry High School junior class, with all proceeds going toward the Prom Committee. All total, they raised $2,235 from the dance. One attendee was Perry Public Works Director Jack Butler, who was accompanying his daughter Chloe. They were both dressed to the nines and anxious to hit the dance floor. “Oh, I think it’s great! It’s good to see all the dads come out with their daughters, you know. And then it’s an awesome fundraiser for the junior class, so it’s a pretty good little event.”
For Chloe, it was her second Father-Daughter Dance, and she was excited to once again take part. In addition to the dance, there were refreshments, photos, glow necklaces, and nail painting, as well as a cake walk.
