The Iowa legislative session is well underway and caucus season is right around the corner. With those in mind, the Warren Cultural Center will be hosting an opportunity to meet with local legislators. The center will host the first of three Legislative Coffee sessions this Saturday at 10am, in the Green Room.

District 20 Representative Clel Baudler and District 10 Senator Jake Chapman will be present to answer questions and respond to concerns about legislative topics. This is also one of the first public events Baudler will attend since announcing his retirement following this session. Baudler took some time on Let’s Talk Guthrie County to thank those who have helped him along the way. “Looking back at the last 20 years, I can only say thank you for the honor. So many people have helped me to do this, with sign locations and parades and fundraisers and especially encouragement.”

Each of the three legislative coffee sessions will be held during the first Saturday, each of the next three months. Refreshments will also be provided.
