4:21am: Officers assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 400 Block of South Olive Street.
7:30am: Karen Murphy reported a deceased deer in the roadway in the 600 Block of South Elm Street. The animal was gone when the officer arrived in the area.
1:59pm: A caller advised of a Pitt Bull running freely in the 900 Block of West Mahlon Street. The officer arrived in the area and located the animal in its own yard.
2:30pm: An officer stopped and spoke with a male juvenile in the 200 Block of South Vine Street after noticing the boy flip him the bird. The officer also contacted the youth’s parents and advised them of the incident.
3:04pm: An officer assisted a DHS Case Worker with a Home Visit at 806 West Monroe Street.
4:16pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 500 Block of South Elm Street.
9:00pm: Charlie Jarnagin spoke with an officer about ways to obtain a No Contact Order against someone.
10:27pm: An officer checked an apartment in the 500 Block of East Lincoln Way Street after dispatch received a 911 Hang Up Call from a cell phone. The apartment was empty.
11:02pm: An officer was requested to assist the jailer with two inmates who were fighting.
******** An Arrest Warrant has been requested for Lucas Fulton Ausberger, 19 of Jefferson for, “Possession of Controlled Substance/marijuana 1st Offense – Serious Misdemeanor. The charge comes after testing was completed on items taken into custody during a Traffic Stop on 12/23/2018, in the 300 Block of West Central Ave.
******** Arrest Warrants have been requested for Max William Pfeffer, 29 of Omaha, NE. for, “Theft 2nd Degree – D Felony, and Eluding Law Enforcement – Aggravated Misdemeanor. The requested warrants are for an incident on 01/23/2018, where a vehicle fled from a Jefferson Police Officer who attempted to stop a vehicle with a headlight out. The vehicle was reported stolen from Omaha. Pfeffer was also issued 18 Traffic Violation Citations, which occurred during the chase.
