Tyson Incident 1

A final reminder: today at the Perry Elks Lodge, there will be a benefit dinner to support two Tyson Foods employees who were seriously injured in December.

On December 4, 2017, Aaron Francis and Andrew Stringer were involved in a workplace accident that resulted in severe steam burns all over their bodies. Both had to be flown by air ambulance to the University of Iowa Burn Treatment Center in Iowa City. While the two men are recovering, the road ahead is a long one. To help them and their families out, the Elks Club is hosting a pulled pork dinner tonight from 5-8 p.m. In exchange for donations, you can partake in pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, chips, and drinks.

Reservations are not required, and all proceeds from the event will go to the Francis and Stringer families.
