The top scorer on the Panorama Panthers girls basketball team hit a milestone Friday night against West Central Activities Conference member Van Meter. The Panthers defense suffocated the Bulldogs in a 44-26 victory. Junior guard Bailey Beckman scored 13 points, going over 1,000 career varsity points scored in the process. Beckman leads the Panthers with 345 points scored this winter. Senior Devyn Kemble poured in a game-high 19 points in the victory. Panorama’s overall record stands at 18-1, and they are undefeated in 14 West Central Activities Conference games this winter. The Panorama boys basketball team fell in the nightcap against Van Meter, 57-37. The Panther basketball teams return to the hardwood Tuesday for a league doubleheader against the Woodward-Granger Hawks.
