The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider for approval an appointment to the Jefferson Fire Department, an administrative assistance contract with Region XII Council of Governments for a Housing Set-Aside Grant Program, a resolution to apply for a grant to Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation for a new animal shelter and a resolution to open an account to accept gifts of stock towards the animal shelter project. Additionally, the Council will consider approving a resolution to apply for an Iowa Economic Development Authority Community Catalyst Remediation Grant and set a public hearing date to adopt the 2019 fiscal year budget.

The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
