A celebration of life visitation for Tom Holmes, 71, of Perry, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, January 25, at the Murdock Funeral Home in Perry with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. A private burial will take place at the Violet Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Iowa Public Television.  Survivors include:  Daughter, Tamara Holmes of Coon Rapids.  Sisters, Cheryl Bell of Ocala, Florida and Kathy Thornburg of Perry.
