A single-vehicle wreck near Redfield Wednesday evening sent a mother and her two sons to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office reports at around 4 p.m. a call came in about a wreck in the 13000 block of 310th Street, one mile west of Redfield. Danyelle Walls of Dexter was driving a van with her two children when she lost control and entered the ditch, striking several trees and shrubs. Emergency crews were able to rescue all three, and they were each transported to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines by Dallas County Emergency Medical Services. The severity of their injuries is unknown at this time. Damage to the van was estimated at $10,000.
