The trials have once again been delayed for four of the suspects involved in the death of 16-year-old Sabrina Ray of Perry.
Marc, Misty, and Justin Ray, as well as Carla Bousman, were scheduled to go to trial on January 29th. However, specially-appointed Judge Terry Rickers agreed to a continuance filed Wednesday by the defense. The request said there were unresolved evidence disputes and a need for additional pre-trial discovery, which will delay the trial indefinitely. The four individuals are being tried in connection to the May 12, 2017 death of Sabrina, who was found in the home of Marc and Misty, her adoptive parents.
A fifth suspect, Josie Bousman, will also have her trial delayed as a result of the continuance, though no official order has been submitted. Josie has agreed to testify against the other four, and will be tried separately as a result.
