Two Jefferson teens face felony drug charges.
According to the Jefferson Police Department, a search warrant was executed at 6:30am on Friday, December 29th in the 200 block of North Oak Street. The alleged suspects were also listed on the search warrant. Officers found the suspects at 3:19pm in a vehicle and performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Central and Grimmell. Suspected drug-related items were seized and sent in for testing at the Criminalistic Laboratory in Ankeny.

Eighteen-year-old Jesus Moises Zuniga and 19-year-old Justin Ray Lopez, both of Jefferson, were arrested and each were charged with a Class D Felony for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. They were booked and released from the Greene County Jail.
