The West Central Activities Conference schedule continues tonight at home for the Panorama Panthers boys basketball team (1-8 overall). The Panthers will look to erase a six-game losing streak when the Woodward Academy Knights (4-4 overall) come to Guthrie County for a boys only varsity contest. Tonight is the first of two conference meetings between Panorama and Woodward Academy; the second game takes place Tuesday, January 30, in Woodward.

Panorama started the second half of their season in Ogden Tuesday, battling the Bulldogs in their first WCAC game of the year. The Panthers returned to Panora on the short end of an 83-78 result. The loss is the Panthers’ fifth this season by seven points or less. Sophomore Malachi Peasley poured in a team-best 20 points in the setback.

The Knights boys basketball team was average during the 2017 portion of their campaign, winning four of their eight regular-season games. Woodward Academy closed the year with back-to-back West Central Activities Conference wins against West Central Valley (75-50) and Madrid (77-58). The varsity boys game tips off at 7:30 p.m. at Panorama High School.
