The Forest Park Museum and Arboretum has many exhibits and activities that continually bring in a good flow of visitors. However, Museum Curator Pete Malmberg says they’re always seeking to make their attractions better.

With that in mind, the museum will soon be rolling out what Malmberg refers to as exhibit enhancements. “People love our graphics panels, but you know people like audios as well. So we’re adding some audios in some of the displays. I had to write up scripts and then come up with the production photos. Because there’ll be small video screens with these too, which go through a variety of slide-type things. That’ll be really cool!”

Malmberg adds, the audio enhancements are being produced by a company in Minnesota that has previously worked on music videos for Janet Jackson. He says they’ll be ready to go when the museum opens in its entirety in late spring. In addition to the audios, Malmberg says they’ll be adding other enhancements aimed at keeping kids entertained. “There’s numerous hands-on things in the buildings as well. Simple things: draw on this easel, do a discovery table. Some of those things are in now, we’ll be adding more of those. And we are having an additional audio put into the school house.”
