There are several opportunities for the public to provide feedback on the possible bond referendum for the Greene County School District.
The School Board recently hired OPN Architects for the project. Several public meetings have been scheduled with the architect firm next week. On Wednesday, January 10th, a meeting will take place at 5:30pm at the Grand Junction Community Center, and at 7:30pm another meeting will be at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson. There are two other meetings scheduled on Thursday, January 11th. At 8:30am, the architect firm will be at the Scranton Community Center, and at 10:30am they will be at the Rippey Community Center.
The District is looking to build a new high school and a regional career academy as part of the bond referendum. However, all of the public meetings will allow attendees to provide feedback as far as the design of the buildings and what possible courses could be implemented at the career academy.
