The 2018 Guthrie County Fair is still eight months away, but preparations are already beginning. The Guthrie County 4-H Beef Weigh-In is this Saturday from 9:30am-noon at the Guthrie Livestock Auction center.

All market beef need to be weighed and verified for the county fair, state fair, and AkSarBen show. All county fair cattle must have ear tags, which are $2. For the state fair, a $5 retinal imaging fee is required, plus the cost of the ear tags. AkSarBen cattle will also be $5 per head. Contact the Guthrie County Extension Office for more information.
