James Pelletiere of Boone was traveling south in the 27000 block of N Ave., when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $3500.00.

Alexander Lycke of Kalona, Iowa was traveling north in the 15000 block of Highway 141 when he hit his brakes causing him to slide into the outside lane and sideswiping a vehicle driven by Trevor McCarthy of Grimes. No injuries reported. Damage to Lycke’s vehicle estimated at $1200.00 and $1400.00 to McCarthy’s. Lycke was cited for improper use of lanes.

David Bruce Stitt II, age 45 of 793 Collins Dr., Waukee was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of driving while license under suspension.

Carrie Neuhaus of Dexter was traveling west near the 105 mile marker of Interstate 80 when her vehicle left the roadway and went down an embankment. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5000.00.

Amoria Sriviboon of Ankeny was traveling west on Highway 141 when she attempted to exit Highway 141 and lost control of her vehicle striking a light pole and then into the ditch. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $10000.00. Sriviboon was cited for failure to maintain control.

Marco Cruz of Des Moines was traveling south in the 32000 block of N Ave., when he lost control of his vehicle, slid sideways and struck a vehicle traveling north on N Ave., driven by Lisa Stark of Adel. No injuries reported. Damage to Stark’s vehicle estimated at $12000.00 and $12000.00 to Cruz’s. Cruz was cited for failure to maintain control and no driver’s license.

Lamont Lartroy Flowers, age 21 of 3206 Amherst St., Des Moines was arrested in the 32000 block of Highway 169 for OWI and driving while license suspended.
