Two juniors on this year’s Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers wrestling team are getting recognized by multiple statewide publications for their work on the mat this winter. The second statewide individual and team rankings were released by IA Wrestle before the start of winter break, and Andrew Flora and Nolan Harsh represent ADM in their latest poll.

Flora stayed as IA Wrestle’s second-best wrestler at 113 pounds in Class 2A. He’s undefeated in 21 matches so far this season, grappling at both 113 and 120 pounds. Flora won his 100th varsity match on December 14 in Carlisle, recording a 4-0 decision win against Winterset’s Bryce Hatten. Harsh will start 2018 competition as IA Wrestle’s Class 2A No. 8 wrestler at 152 pounds. He began the year as the publication’s sixth-ranked wrestler in his weight class.Harsh enters the holiday break with an 11-2 overall record, taking first place honors at the DCG Mustangs Invitational in his weight class.

The pair of wrestlers are also ranked by the Predicament website. The publication has Flora ranked No. 2 at 113 pounds, and Harsh rated No. 8 at 152 pounds. The ADM wrestling team resumes their season Thursday, grappling the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs in a nonconference dual.
