The Perry Public Library will be closed for Christmas and New Years, but in between the two holidays they will be hosting a free event for teenagers.
The library is bringing back their monthly Teen Social Saturdays this winter, with the first one to be held on December 30th. Deputy Library Director Misty VonBehren invites kids from sixth grade through twelfth to join her at the library to socialize, play video and board games, and enjoy snacks with other teens in the area. The event will run from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the large meeting room. There will also be two more events this winter in January and February. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required.
For more information on this and any other upcoming events at the Perry Public Library, call 515-465-3569. As a reminder, the library will be closed the 24th and 25th of December, as well as December 31st and January 1st for the holidays.
