All this month, the Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library has featured dozens of holiday trees. Community members will have just one more week to vote on their favorite tree, as the display officially ends January 2nd.

At the conclusion of the festival, the top three trees will each win a prize. Several different organizations contributed to the display, including Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School. AC/GC contributed a unique display with a ladder based-Christmas tree. If you want to get out and vote this week, you’ll have plenty of opportunity as the library is only closed Christmas Day.
